Interseasonal Heat Transfer
technology for the collection and storage of solar and environmental
energy for buildings and transport applications.
This energy transfer
may be used for winter heating or summer cooling.
Roads, playgrounds, car-parks, runways can all be used to heat/cool houses,
schools, offices, factories.
Also could be used to add/remove low-grade heat to/from existing
water heating systems.

Silchester designed and built the complex control system required

the Highways Agency in conjunction with Transport Research Labs.

Silchester Control Systems has recently completed the turnkey
electrical and control installation for a new 5000 Ton GGBS Storage
Silo complete with a twin weighbridge lorry out loading system.
Design, installation and test of all electrical, control and
instrumentation equipment including the provision of a new Motor
Control Centre, SCADA and Soft PLC system. Working in partnership
with the other suppliers SCS were proud that the project was
completed both ahead of schedule and within budget.
